Alyssa Anderson is a graduate of Xavier University where she majored in Electronic Media. Under Xavier’s DIFT program, Alyssa wrote, directed, and produced a short film entitled “Survival” that addressed race relations in America. The film premiered at Xavier University in April 2016 and was later shown at the Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless Social Justice Art 
Show.

During college, Alyssa spent three semesters interning at CCHMC Seacrest Studios where she hosted live game shows, created visual content for program segments, and edited videos that were shown on WKID 33 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. After graduation, she went on to serve as a production assistant for Cincinnati’s local news station WLWT-TV.

Alyssa is currently a preschool teacher and in her free time enjoys cooking with her husband and writing on her blog alyssamichaela.com.
