Cinematographer/Editor, Barking Squirrel Media
Dan Marque is a graduate of the Electronic Media Division of CCM at the University of Cincinnati. He is now working as a commercial cinematographer and editor for Barking Squirrel Media in Cincinnati. He is a two-time National Broadcasting Society Award winner for categories in best Music Video and Commercial Promo. He has also worked as a cinematographer and editor on several award winning films including, “Sorry About Tomorrow”, “The Many Monsters of Sadness”, and “Contrary to Likeness” with Director Motke Dapp of Paper Ghosts Pictures. Dapp’s latest film, “Contrary to Likeness” won Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, and Best Graphics at the 48 Hour film festival in Nashville. This Film went on to compete in Filmapalooza at 2015 in Hollywood. Among other awards (Best Director, Best Editing, Best Set Design, Best Graphics), the film was chosen to screen at the Cannes Film Festival in May of 2015.
