Marc Miller is an award winning cinematographer and editor with over 40 years international experience in narrative, commercial, corporate, documentary and web formats. Recent projects include documentaries “Glickman”, “Brothers At War” and “Lost Graves of Tarawa” as well as CBS’s “Big Brother Season 13” and the independent feature “African Gothic”.
Marc’s philosophical approach to filmmaking is captured in this statement by Russian filmmaker VI Pudovkin “To show something as everyone sees it is to have accomplished nothing.” Marc strives to capture images and construct stories that take the viewer where he cannot go. Herein lies the power of the art of the cinema.
He is a member of The International Cinematographers Guild Local 600 as Camera Operator for both film and digital formats and a member of the Society of Camera Operators. He also edits Final Cut Pro X and AVID Media Composer non-linear editing systems and is studying color grading with DaVinci Resolve.
